Refund Policy

Quick summary: Subscriptions are refundable within the first 14 days of a new billing period. After 14 days, no refunds are issued for the current period. Pay-per-notice purchases ($5/notice) are non-refundable once the notice has been generated.

1. Subscription Refunds

Boardly offers monthly subscription plans (Starter $299/mo, Pro $599/mo, Premium $999/mo). Our refund policy for subscriptions is as follows:

To cancel your subscription, use your account settings or contact support@boardlyhq.com. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not automatically trigger a refund.

2. Pay-Per-Notice Purchases

Pay-per-notice credits ($5 per notice) are non-refundable once a notice has been generated. Once our AI processes your violation photo and produces a draft notice, the credit has been consumed and the charge stands regardless of whether you ultimately send the notice.

If a credit was purchased but no notice has been generated yet (e.g., you purchased a credit by mistake before using it), you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase by contacting support@boardlyhq.com.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@boardlyhq.com with:

4. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. The refund will be applied to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times may vary depending on your card issuer or bank.

5. Disputed Charges

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank, please contact us at support@boardlyhq.com. Chargebacks result in additional fees and processing complications for both parties. We will work quickly to resolve legitimate billing disputes directly.

If a chargeback is initiated for a charge that does not qualify for a refund under this policy, we reserve the right to suspend account access until the dispute is resolved.

6. Exceptions

We may issue refunds outside the policy above at our sole discretion in cases of demonstrated technical failure on our end that prevented you from using the Service. Such exceptions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
